The Cat In the Hat Projects

Question 2:

Through out the story the cat has the characters of the cat is id then in the end the cate is superego. Two examples of indirect is speech. The cat says that "I know some good game we can play." He says this almost thorough out the whole story it shows that the cat likes to play very much and is a cheerful person. Another example is actions. The cat did some trick with the ball and carrying the fish without asking the fish for permission. These tricks can hurt someone badly and even the cat. He didn't ask the fish for permission before carrying him. It seems like the cat doesn't care if others get hurt. All he cares about is having fun. Each example help support my main agrument or idea. In the beginning the cat is desperate that he just bargin into the main character house. He wanted to play. He didn't ask the main character and Sally if he could play and take his toy out. In the end the main character and Sally told him to get out. The cat was sad but he still do what they say because he realize that if he continues on playing or showing tricks he might hurt their feeling. Thats why he came back to clean his mess.
